DBR! vintage 5 panel motorsport hat

After traveling back in time, Der Berg Ruft! has unearthed a stash of deadstock vintage podium rope hats— the real-deal pinch front, high crown, foam-lined, motorsport-grade hats your daddy probably wore when Group B was still legal and 13’s were the only thing you saw on rabbits.

I took these untouched gems and stitched ‘em up proper with the DBR mark — because if you’re gonna wear something, it might as well look like you know what you’re talking about when it comes to camber, carburetors, or compression ratios.

Available in whatever colors I can track down with colors hand-picked to pair well with an old pit crew jacket, an oil-stained timing sheet, or just your resting judgmental face at a show.

And yes, wearing one of these hats does, by default, give you full license to gatekeep 13s on a Mk1. Not “some 16s that kinda work.” Thirteens. If you don’t understand that, this hat’s not for you —

Each hat is extremely limited — once they’re gone, they’re gone untill I find more deadstock ones to bring to the embroidery. I’m not making trucker hats. And I’m definitely not switching to flat brims. If you see someone else wearing one, just nod and know you’re both operating above the noise.
